Welcome to the ICICI 2010 on

“The Technological Dimension of Innovation”.

After having focused on ‘Non-technological and non-economic innovations and their impact on economy’ (Bern 2008) and ‘The social dimension of innovation’ (Prague 2009), this year’s International Conference on Indicators and Concepts of Innovation (ICICI 2010) will turn its attention to the ‘The technological dimension of innovation’ and explore the tension zone between the concepts of a social construction of technology and a technological construction of society.

We warmly welcome submissions from scholars in management, sociology, economics, engineering or information sciences. Selected papers will be published in a Special Issue of the International Journal of Innovation and Sustainable Development.

The conference will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, on October 7-8, 2010. Your host is GSaME, Graduate School advanced Manufacturing Engineering, University of Stuttgart.
